Knee Deformities Treatment in Hinjewadi, Pune
Knee alignment problems change how load passes through the joint, and often show up as pain elsewhere. Bow legs, knock knees and a kneecap that does not track properly all do this. Physiotherapy cannot straighten a bone, but it can change the muscular control around the joint, reduce the pain the alignment is causing, and slow the wear that comes with it.

The signs we look for
- Legs that curve outward or inward at the knee
- Uneven shoe wear
- Pain on the inside or outside of the knee after walking
- A kneecap that feels like it slips or tracks off-centre
- Hip or ankle pain that seems to come with it
What treatment achieves
- Less pain from the load the alignment is creating
- Better muscular control around the knee and hip
- Slower progression of the wear the alignment causes
- Honest guidance on when a surgical opinion is worth having

The clinician who will see you first
“A patient who does the right movement ten times a day beats a patient who comes to the clinic three times a week and does nothing in between. Every time.”
Dr. Priya Trivedi
Founder & Clinical Director
Seventeen years and more than three and a half thousand patients have taught me one thing: people do not want to be sold a treatment. They want to be understood, told the truth about what is possible, and then treated properly. O2 Revive grew out of that — I built it so a patient recovering from a knee replacement and a client planning her brows could walk into the same calm room and both be looked after by someone qualified to decide what they actually need.

What most people can expect
Physiotherapy cannot straighten a bone. What it can do is change how the muscles control the joint, reduce the pain that comes from uneven loading, and often delay progression. In children, alignment frequently corrects on its own with growth, and we will say so rather than treating something that does not need it.
Recovery varies between individuals. Your clinician will give you a realistic timeline at your assessment.
Questions we get asked

Knock knees (Genu Valgum): The knees angle inward and may touch while the ankles remain apart. Knee flexion deformity: Difficulty fully straightening the knee. Knee extension deformity: Abnormal backward positioning or over-straightening of the knee. Rotational deformities: Abnormal twisting alignment of the leg bones.
What causes knee deformities?
Knee deformities may occur due to: Genetic or developmental conditions Bone growth abnormalities Previous fractures or injuries Joint infections Arthritis and cartilage damage Ligament or muscle imbalance Vitamin deficiencies affecting bone health
Can knee deformities be treated without surgery?
